With the weather heating up for summer so has the racing in the Irish Championship with the return to racing of KTM Rider Martin Barr. The Irish regulars were out in the MX1 class as Stuart went out to extend his lead in the Championship.

The Mad Dog CCR team has been working hard recently on the bike settings and have made significant progress in the past few weeks, this showed in a dominating performance by Stuart Edmonds at the Clonroche circuit last Sunday.

Stuart took all three wins on the day looking very smooth and comfortable with his Suzuki RMZ450, able to dial in a section on the track no other rider was doing.

With Martin Barr taking second all day Stuart has been able to extend his points lead on his way towards another Irish Championship

Stuart’s view “Today was a good day! We have been struggling a little this year with set up but are close to where we need to be. I feel great on the Mad Dog CCR Suzuki and am really looking forward to the British Championship in Fatcat on the 20th. With some good starts I am gonna be up there! Thanks to all the team and sponsors for pulling out all the stops to get us back after a tough few events“
