Race winning Duo BRDC Formula 4 Championship team SWR is delighted to welcome global lubricant and fuel giant Rock Oil as a key partner for the 2015 season, the latest high profile brand to become part of the Oxfordshire squad’s sponsorship portfolio. Rock Oil, which is also an associate sponsor of the British Superbike Championship and has a long and successful history in the ranks of motorcycle racing, is now also branching out into the world of single-seater car racing with its support of SWR. “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Rock Oil as a key partner for 2015”, said SWR team owner Sean Walkinshaw, “It’s a highly successful, highly respected brand and the Rock Oil products really are second to none with a very impressive level of performance. Hopefully it will prove to be a winning partnership in BRDC F4 this season.” Part of the Rock Chemicals group, Rock Oil was established in 1928 and provides lubricants and fuel for a wide variety of automotive, industrial, agricultural and commercial partners. With a major focus on research and development, the Rock Oil range is constantly evolving and improving to meet emerging standards. Renowned for key innovation too, the family-owned business has a major global presence with importers in more than 50 countries worldwide. Every year, the company produces in excess of 20,000,000 litres of product. Commenting on the partnership with SWR, Rock Oil’s Russell Bower said: “We are delighted to be working with Sean Walkinshaw Racing. The company has a fantastic history and is highly respected within the racing community. “Rock Oil has a long-standing support of racing in all its forms and this new partnership shows our commitment to supporting top class motorsport. Our lubricants have long enjoyed favour within the motorsport arena and our partnership with SWR will promote the brand to an even greater audience.” Multiple BRDC Formula 4 Championship podium finisher Jordan Albert remains with SWR for his second year in the category this season and will partner car racing newcomer Zubair Hoque, the latter having graduated from karts into BRDC F4 last November in the Winter Series. Oulton Park International Circuit in Cheshire will host the opening three rounds of the 2015 season across Easter weekend, 4th/5th/6th April.
