A REFRESHING WELCOME AWAITS THE MARUSSIA F1 TEAM AT SPA

UK based Mad Dog Drinks Limited is delighted to announce its brand will feature on the Marussia F1 Team MR02 racing cars at the 2013 Formula 1™ Shell Belgian Grand Prix this weekend.

The second half of the FIA Formula One World Championship season commences with round eleven at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Mad Dog Energy Lemonade will be featured on the Oxfordshire based racing team’s cars thanks to Lloyds Development Capital (LDC), a founding investor in the Marussia F1 Team.

Following the annual summer break the team will hope to continue their solid performances of late, with Britain’s Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi from France looking to secure crucial championship points, building on the team’s current position of 10th in the constructor’s championship.

Mad Dog Drinks Limited’s Chairman, Ross van Geest, commented “The entire Mad Dog team are extremely excited to have the opportunity, provided to us by LDC, to promote the brand to a global television audience and be part of such a global event.” Discussing Mad Dog Drinks participation in motorsport Ross added “We have already had a great start to the season through our involvement with the highly successful Sean Walkinshaw Racing team during their inaugural year of Formula Four and are now highly honoured to be able to partner with the Marussia Formula One team for the next race at Spa”.
